Part of message sent to person in another city in their human relations department;

Thank you for the WS information; the library printer situation at Carver road Library was resolved[technically];still in process of checking to see if there is reason for my being concerned about access to resources from/through local social agencies.  Am sending the information and reference for the information that talks about the fact that social agencies are the ones who create and cause problems for the people they are suppose to help; One of the reasons is that the social agencies start labeling people who continue to seek help from the social agencies instead of doing something illegal to make money;which is the reason why I started using the name of Deanna instead of my real name; based on textbook learning everything I am going through would be what ancestors went through when they tried to exercise their right to choose for themselves vs having others choosing for them; and being that the world is GLOBAL[Mcdonald’s in every country]that is why I need someone to be an advocate to help stop the abuse, intimidation, harassment and threats and/or publicity for protection.
Also am trying the online fundraiser again; hopefully, I am not attack, the WSFC public library doesn’t, put me out, etc.; I do know that one of the main issues is MONEY;why Gwyndolyn Gwyn’s son tried to take over my address so that “checks” could be sent to the mailbox, and in order to get the checks, they had to have me out of the way-[jail][which would have taken place if I had called directly to the WS authority dept]; the postman name is even code for  “stealing/taking money” –the postman’s name for my mailbox is “BILLY PLUCK”[code for Pluck DOLLAR BILLS];even after filing complaints of intimidation from Billy Pluck-the result was no result.
Again thank you for the WS information, any type of help that you can give me would be greatly appreciated because based on reading the codes of the local community; help better get to me and it better be quick; because they have not stop working behind the scenes, just being a little more cautious, knowing that somebody knows what they are doing.
Have a Good Day!

1.  P.188; CRIME AND LABELING
Because of the PROCESS of becoming STIGMATIZED is essentially INTERACTIVE, labeling theorists BLAME the establishment of CRIMINAL CAREERS ON THE SOCIAL AGENCIES originally designed for crime control, such as police, courts and correctional agencies. These institutions, labeling theorists claim are inflicting the very stigma that harms the people they are trying to treat or correct, as a result they actually help to maintain and amplify criminal behavior.
2, Consequences of labeling:
PUBLIC denunciation plays an important part in the labeling process;
“CONDIMINATION” is often carried out in ceremonies in which the individual’s dignity is officially transformed.
During the PROCESS, a permanent record is produced, such as an arrest, conviction record, so that the denounced person is ritually separated from a place in the legitimate order and set outside the world occupied by citizens of good standing; is what was suppose to take place when I called the authorities when Gwyndolyn Gwyn’s son pulled the weapon on me for putting my mailbox back up that he knocked down];

Harold Garfinkle has called transactions that produce IRREVERSIBLE, PERMANENT labels “successful degradation ceremonies”;

Successful degradation ceremony” is a course of action or ritual in which someone’s IDENTITY is Publically RE-defined [form of identity theft/financial identity theft]and destroyed;

3. SOCIAL Reaction[LABELING]Theory; 3rd type of Social Process; Social Reaction Theory, also called LABELING THEORY(2 terms are used interchangeably), explains criminal careers in terms of STIGMA-PRODUCING ENCOUNTERS; Social Reaction theory has a number of KEY POINTS:

1. Behaviors that are considered criminal are highly subjective;

2. Crime is defined by those in power.  The content and shape of criminal law is defined by the values of those who rule and is not an objective standard of moral conduct. Howard Becker refers to people who create rules as moral entrepreneurs.

3. Not only acts are labeled; but also people. Labels define not just an act but also the actor.
     a. positive labels can improve self-image and social standing;
     b. people who run afoul of the law or other authority are given negative labels,
         including trouble makers.

4. Both positive and negative labels involve subjective interpretation of behavior.  A trouble make is merely someone who people label as troublesome;[everytime I tried to get help with food, water, heat, twin child stolen, mailbox knocked down] ;

******
4. In a famous statement, Howard Becker sums up the importance of audiences reaction:
Social groups create deviance by making rules whose infractions constitute deviance and by applying those rules to particular people and labeling them as outsiders;

From this point of view, deviance is not a quality of act a person commits; but rather a CONSEQUENCE of the application of others of rule [Gwyndolyn Gwyn[who helped in stealing twin child and son[s][one who pulled a weapon on me, SANCTIONS [blocking access to food, help with utilities, threaten with confinement for obtaining honest work]to an offender, the deviant is one to who the label has successfully been applied[which they are trying to apply to me]; deviant behavior is behavior that people so label[deviant behavior is anybody protecting themselves, informing others of the abuse, intimidation, and anybody who rejects being forced to join a secret group that intimidates, abuses other people];

5. EFFECTS OF LABELING:
Empirical evidence shows that negative labels may dramatically influence self image of offenders.  Considereable evidence indicates that SOCIAL SANCTIONS lead to self labeling and deviance amplifications
Because crime and deviance are defined by the social audience’s reaction to people and their behavior and by the subsequent effects of that reaction, these institutions form the audience that keeps define behavior as evil or wrong, locking people into deviant identities.[which means as long as I am trying to protect myself from being abused, robbed by those who make the rules or are connected to those who make the rules like Gwyndolyn Gwyn and her son who pulled the weapon on me, I am perceived as being wrong[which violates my right to defend and protect my self];which is why  I told you, that there needs to be outside intervention to protect and enforce my rights to stop the system of  intimidation, abuse, harassment,  food and water denial, and blocking from honest work, etc.]
CRIMINAL behavior is an expression of conformity to lower class subcultural values and traditions, not a rebellion from conventional society.[Gwyndolyn Gwyn and son [who knocked down my mailbox and pulled weapon on me when I was putting my mailbox back up] both came from the “PROJECTS”[where low-income housing development is], in fact everybody on the street just about came from the projects=(explains the  crime) the expression of conformity to lower class subcultural values and tradition; I was taught to stay out of the “PROJECTS”;

Subcultural values are handed down from one generation to the next in a process called CULTURAL TRANSMISSION[Gwydolyn Gwyn stole the twin child;
Gwyndolyn Gwyn’s son knocking down and taking over my mailbox was suppose to be the handing down of Gwyndolyn Gwyns family subcultural values to her next generation];

6. Research on Social Reaction Theory:
Targets of labeling-there is EVIDENCE that just as predicted by labeling theory, poor and powerless people are victimized by the law and justice system[s]. Labels are not equally distributed across class and racial lines.  Racial profiling=example;
7.Page 189; DIFFERENTIAL ENFORCEMENT:
An important principle of Social Reaction Theory is that the LAW is DIFFERENTIALLY APPLIED, benefiting those who hold economic and social power

In Sum, a major premises of social reaction theory is that the LAW is differently constructed and applied, depending on the offenderIt favors powerful members of society, who direct its content, and penalizes the powerless, such as MINORITY group members
