Re: Thank You
Thank You for assisting with my [lady who you spoke with in Salvation Army lobby after not receiving help from S. A.] obtaining help on 4/9/14 when Tora helped with water bill [Tora was very professional and did a good job];
Upon obtaining help from the Salvation Army on 4/9/14, have called the other agencies on the help list given out by the Salvation Army and other local churches to obtain help with other utilities, who direct me back to the two major social agencies in Winston-Salem, NC; either the “Salvation Army” or the “Crisis Control” ministry; of which I have gone to the “Crisis Control” ministry who stated that they would/could not help me;
Which is why I have been asking the “Salvation Army” to be an advocate for me; because all of the other social agencies and local churches say they give financial donations to the “Salvation Army and the “Crisis Control” ministry and always refer me back to either the “Salvation Army or the “Crisis Control” ministry; thereby basically leaving me in an oversite area- outside of receiving help by local social agencies/churches because of the local policies oversite that are designed to help people; which is why I need an advocate to ask the other local agencies and churches to assist in my particular situation because without an advocate to intervene, lack of help basic elements, such as food, water, heat, light, could be within the area of being in the area of nonexistence as it relates to survival because of local policy oversite based on local policies/elements that are beyond my control;
Thus am asking again [based upon local social agency suggestion to ask Major Davis earlier ]if the Salvation Army could be an advocate to get other agencies to help in my particular situation by at least writing a letter to the other local social agencies and churches asking them to help me; with the letter from the Salvation Army giving credibility to my asking for help.
Presently am having to figure out how to eat from day to day; anytype of assistance would be greatly appreciated; have worked everyday prior to situation and have two degrees which look forward to utilizing to earn a living.
Thank You,
